About Activate Care

Activate Care is focused on improving health equity and delivering better health outcomes nationwide. Its Community Care Record helps healthcare and community organizations coordinate care for people facing health-related social needs. The Path Assist program is a technology-enabled community health worker model for HRSN that uses a structured, evidence-based intervention designed to strengthen health confidence, build self-efficacy, and lower avoidable healthcare spending.

Role Overview

This contracted Sourcing Specialist role supports recruitment for Licensed Registered Nurses and other healthcare support professionals across Massachusetts. The assignment runs for at least three months, requires up to 30 hours per week, and may be extended or converted into a permanent full-time position.

Eligibility and Contract Terms

  • This is a contracted opportunity of 3 months or longer.
  • Candidates must live in Massachusetts.
  • The company is not offering visa sponsorship at this time.

Responsibilities

  • Find and engage qualified Registered Nurse candidates using job boards, social networks, networking efforts, and other sourcing methods.
  • Work closely with the recruiting team to understand hiring needs, role expectations, and priority openings.
  • Create and nurture a strong talent pool for immediate and future nursing hiring needs.
  • Use applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms to log activity and keep candidate information current.
  • Arrange interviews between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
  • Keep candidates informed throughout the interview journey so they have a positive experience aligned with the company’s values.
  • Share regular status updates on sourcing activity and candidate movement through the pipeline.
  • Support special hiring initiatives and recruiting projects as needed.
  • Take on additional duties when assigned.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related area is preferred; comparable experience may also be considered.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in high-volume recruiting.
  • Background recruiting for home health, hospitals, managed care, or community-based healthcare settings.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare licensing requirements and nursing credentialing processes.
  • Comfort using applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Good organization and project coordination abilities with skill in balancing multiple priorities.
  • Contract recruiting or staffing agency experience is preferred.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information carefully and maintain confidentiality.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support teammates.
  • Ability to communicate respectfully across different cultures, backgrounds, languages, and communities with cultural humility.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual pay range for this role is $68,000 to $72,000, depending on experience.
