We welcome applications for full-time, part-time, and casual positions, offering the opportunity to work in various locations across our villages in the region.
Key Duties
- Offer respectful personal care that preserves residents' dignity, privacy, and comfort.
- Assist residents with daily living activities like hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and hydration.
- Monitor residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing, escalating any concerns properly.
- Foster trusting and warm relationships with residents and their families/whānau.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting environment promoting wellness and independence.
- Adhere to individualized care plans and collaborate closely with Registered Nurses for consistent, high-quality support.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with residents, their families, and colleagues.
- Uphold health, safety, and infection control standards to protect everyone.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in healthcare assistance, caregiving, or related roles.
- A caring, patient, and respectful attitude toward older adults.
- Strong verbal communication skills combined with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Dedication to safety, maintaining residents' dignity, and delivering person-centred care.
- Availability and adaptability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
