Healthcare Assistant

Role Overview

Care Connect Group is hiring Home Care Healthcare Assistants in Cork to support clients throughout Cork County. Both full-time and part-time arrangements are available, with shifts that can be tailored around your lifestyle, including mornings, evenings, weekends, or a combination of these.

Eligibility and Work Authorization

Applicants must already be living and working in Ireland, as sponsorship cannot be provided for this role. Candidates must have a valid visa and unrestricted permission to work in Ireland. A full driving licence and access to a personal car are required, as the position involves community-based, on-the-road work.

Required Qualifications and Training

Applicants should have QQI Level 5 modules in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person, or an equivalent qualification. Candidates who are currently enrolled in these modules may also be considered. An up-to-date Patient Moving and Handling certificate is required, along with all mandatory HSELand training.

Vetting and Compliance

Willingness to complete Garda Vetting is essential. The vetting cost will be fully covered by Care Connect Group.
