Role Overview
This role focuses on providing high-quality intelligence in oncology and hematology through comprehensive market research. Responsibilities include secondary research, conducting surveys, and engaging with industry leaders and senior physicians globally to gather primary data. It suits early-career life sciences professionals passionate about research and writing who want to deepen expertise in healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed market analyses within the Oncology portfolio
- Compose in-depth research reports and public relations materials on current market dynamics
- Perform strategic evaluation of disease markets
- Estimate and forecast market potential for drugs under clinical development
- Represent GlobalData at client meetings, industry conferences, and media engagements
- Engage and respond directly to pharmaceutical clients’ queries
Candidate Profile
- Advanced degree (M.S., M.P.H., or PhD) in life sciences, with strong preference for oncology or cancer biology background
- Prior experience in healthcare or competitive intelligence industries is advantageous but not mandatory
- Rapid learner with capability to quickly grasp new concepts
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong command of written and verbal communication skills, with significant writing responsibilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; advanced Excel skills desirable
