Role Overview

At our Rotowaro site, health and safety take paramount importance. This role plays a vital part in upholding these values by ensuring the accuracy, currency, and efficient management of health, safety, and training information. This enables site personnel to work safely, comply with regulations, and maintain productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver day-to-day administrative assistance to the health, safety, and training teams on site.
  • Keep safety records, forms, and supporting documents organized, current, and easily accessible.
  • Support safety reporting, perform inspections, and assist with follow-up actions in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Manage risk-related documentation, including hazard logs, inspection results, and control measures.
  • Maintain precise files on risk assessments, safe work instructions, and associated controls.
  • Handle site training records and assist with the scheduling and coordination of training activities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate input of data into site databases and reporting tools.
  • Support departmental planning efforts, meeting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and fulfilling service expectations.
  • Perform other related duties aligned with the role's objectives and level.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possess a relevant secondary or tertiary qualification, or demonstrate equivalent practical experience in administration or business support.
  • Proven experience in administration with strong skills in records management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook at an advanced level.
  • Experience working with databases, learning management systems, or comparable business software platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail ensuring data remains accurate, current, and accessible.
