The opportunity at Alignerr leverages your public health expertise beyond traditional settings, collaborating with leading AI research labs to develop models that inform millions about health information and policies. This position seeks MPH-trained professionals to ensure AI models accurately understand and communicate epidemiology, biostatistics, health equity, and policy by identifying errors, closing knowledge gaps, and raising the standard for AI health communication.

Key Responsibilities
- Design advanced scenarios such as disease outbreak simulations, health equity evaluations, clinical trial data interpretation, and policy analysis challenges.
- Develop expert, evidence-based responses supported by peer-reviewed studies, epidemiologic data, and authoritative health guidelines including CDC and WHO.
- Review AI-generated health advice and policy recommendations for accuracy, bias, logical coherence, and ethical adherence.
- Provide structured feedback to improve AI's ability to differentiate correlation from causation, communicate risks clearly, and serve diverse populations equitably.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a graduate degree such as MPH, MSPH, or a closely related field in public health.
- Strong foundational knowledge in at least two domains among epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental health, or health policy.
- Ability to translate complex health-related data into clear, accurate, and culturally appropriate written content.
- Highly detail-oriented reviewing statistical significance, data sourcing, and the rationale behind health interventions.
- No prior experience with AI is necessary; domain expertise is the priority.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data annotation, quality review, or system evaluation is advantageous.
- Familiarity with data analysis software such as R, SAS, or Stata.
- Background in health communication, clinical research coordination, or public health surveillance preferred.
