About the role
The Care Navigation Centre is designed to create an outstanding experience from the first enquiry onward. As a Care Navigation Administrator, you will be the first welcoming contact for new clients and will help direct them to the most suitable service, ensuring the process feels clear, supportive, and compassionate.
Key duties
- Assess new clients and direct them to the most appropriate service package based on their needs.
- Explain and support the value of strength training in injury prevention and rehabilitation.
- Work with GPs, specialists, and clinic-based practitioners to coordinate care.
- Link patients with the correct services and manage referral follow-ups.
- Handle eligibility checks, private health program administration, and tracking of call outcomes.
What you will bring
You should have a background in Allied Health, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or a closely related field. The role also calls for experience handling calls, along with strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities. A sincere interest in strength training and its contribution to a healthier, more active, pain-free life is important. You will also need to balance empathy with structure when dealing with complex service pathways.
Desirable experience
- At least 1 year of administration and/or coordination experience.
- Prior exposure to care navigation or patient triage work.
- Clear evidence of enthusiasm for strength training.
