Job description
About Sharecare
Sharecare is a digital health organization that builds software and technology-enabled services for the wider healthcare ecosystem. Its solutions use data and AI-driven insights, evidence-based content, and an integrated platform that supports benefits navigation, care management, home care resources, and health information management. The company works with health plan sponsors, health systems, physician practices, and pharmaceutical brands to support personalized, value-based care at scale.
Role Overview
This position is part of a coordinated, high-touch outreach model. Health Coaches use an automated dialer to connect with members throughout the day, often handling consecutive coaching conversations. The role focuses on education, encouragement, and behavior-change support while following defined workflows and documentation requirements.
Job Summary
The role begins on Monday, July 20, 2026. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, and candidates must be available for any shift between 10:30 am and 9:00 pm CST. In addition, every fourth Saturday is required from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm CST.
Training lasts 6 weeks and takes place from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm CST. Because the training schedule is fixed, new hires cannot miss any training days.
Compensation is an hourly rate of $21.50, or $25 per hour for candidates who hold NBC-HWC or CHES certification only.
Responsibilities

- Reach eligible participants, explain the program, and enroll them when appropriate.
- Provide individualized coaching that helps reduce risky habits and build healthier routines.
- Follow up with enrolled members who do not already have a scheduled coaching session.
- Work closely with nurses, pharmacists, and outside vendors to coordinate care and service delivery.
- Support the operational needs of the assigned program area and help meet client expectations.
- Work to the assigned schedule and caseload to maintain member engagement and continuity.
- Handle caseloads that may be assigned one-to-one or by team, depending on business and client needs.
- Take part in daily and monthly meetings to share updates, findings, and insights.
- Document member progress and monitor the effectiveness of the program.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a health-related discipline is required, such as psychology, nutrition, or exercise science.
- In certain cases, NBHWC certification may replace the health-related degree requirement.
- At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- Experience in customer service is preferred.
- Prior exposure to schedule adherence, benchmarks, and contact center metrics is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in computer data entry and Microsoft Office is needed.
- Ability to speak with participants while simultaneously using software and entering information for long periods.
- Willingness to learn lifestyle-focused topics such as smoking cessation, weight management, nutrition, exercise, stress management, and sleep.
- Ability to work independently, manage a moderate workload, and require minimal supervision.
- Comfort with schedule changes when business needs shift.
- Ability to balance member interactions with coordination alongside managers and support staff.
- A hard-wired internet connection is mandatory; Wi-Fi is not allowed.
Skills and Attributes
The role calls for strong interpersonal communication, the ability to understand directions and respond clearly to questions, an encouraging coaching style, and openness to learning motivational interviewing techniques. Flexibility for evening shifts and rotating Saturdays is also important.
