Role Overview

We are looking for certified health and wellness coaches grounded in behavior change techniques and passionate about data-driven coaching to enable precision wellness. You will help participants interpret biomarker data, relate lifestyle advice to physiological outcomes, and guide them toward measurable improvements in health through personalized coaching.

The position involves delivering coaching through a combination of video sessions and asynchronous chat support, allowing flexible scheduling that suits your availability. Coaches work independently as contractors and must meet location-specific credential requirements. This role does not establish an employee or agent relationship with Wellhub.

Key Responsibilities

• Explain biomarker results in accessible terms and illustrate the importance of specific lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with participants to design customized health plans and monitor adherence.
• Provide ongoing support mainly via asynchronous chat and video sessions.
• Encourage clients to actively engage in their health improvement journeys.
• Offer constructive feedback to enhance the health coaching program.
• Engage in a Health Coaching Forum through internal platforms for continuous learning and communication.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Possession of a valid Health or Wellness Coach Certification, preferably from recognized bodies such as the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBH-WC), The Health Coach Alliance (HCA), or the National Society of Health Coaches (NSHC).
• Access to a private, secure workspace equipped with reliable internet connectivity.
• Between one to three years of experience as a health or wellness coach.
• Experience delivering coaching services virtually and/or in-person.
• Availability to conduct video calls and manage structured asynchronous chats with participants.
• Commitment to successfully completing onboarding and ongoing training programs.
• Enthusiasm to support varied populations in achieving precision wellness.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency with computer and software use.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience formulating health improvement plans guided by biometric data.
• Training or practical knowledge of behavior change methodologies.
• Background in corporate wellness settings.
• Familiarity with client management or digital coaching platforms.
• Understanding of integrative or functional medicine concepts.
