About the Role
This opportunity involves independently carrying out clinical tasks within radiology under the supervision of registered healthcare staff. Tasks include supporting imaging examinations such as fine needle aspirations, biopsies, and fluoroscopy procedures. The role also entails various administrative duties like scheduling and managing patient bookings under registered staff direction. The position requires flexibility as it is currently under review, with updated responsibilities expected.

Qualifications and Experience
- Essential: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience.
- Educational background including GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Understanding of learning disabilities, person-centered care, safeguarding, and professional boundaries.
- Experience working with patients or vulnerable groups in healthcare, social care, or community settings.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaborative skills.
- Desirable: Additional healthcare-related qualifications.
- Experience in acute or hospital settings.
- Experience conducting or supporting health education or training sessions.
- Data collection and input skills.

The salary structure corresponds to NHS Agenda for Change Band 3 and will be updated accordingly in August 2026, backdated to April 1, 2026.
