Job description
Overview
This full-time Health Assessment Specialist role with Bluecrest Wellness is a field-based position focused on delivering health assessments that help customers better understand and take charge of their wellbeing. The work combines clinical tasks, customer interaction, and travel across a defined region. The role is suited to someone who enjoys variety, independence, and meaningful face-to-face work.
The base pay is £21,691.58 per year, with additional commission, overtime, expenses, and benefits. On-target earnings are stated as up to £32,000 to £34,000 per year including salary and commission.
Working pattern and location
This is a full-time role of 30 hours per week, arranged as 3 shifts of 10 hours each. Shifts can fall between 6:00am and 10:00pm, Monday through Sunday, and are assigned on a rota that is shared three weeks in advance. You may request up to 2 days in each calendar month when you cannot work for specific reasons.
The position is field-based, and only candidates living in the following areas can be considered: Edmonton, Chingford, Tottenham, Woodgreen, Walthamstow, Woodford, Finsbury Perk, Camden Town, Enfield, Fulham, Battersea, Streatham, Mitcham, Wimbledon, Dulwich, Putney, and Peckham.
Travel is part of the job. You may need to drive up to 2 hours to reach a venue, and travel time outside the 10-hour shift is not counted within working hours. For drives longer than 1.5 hours, paid accommodation and a meal allowance are provided. In some cases, public transport may be used depending on the venue.
Role summary
You will work in well-presented venue spaces across your region, meeting customers and guiding them through health assessments. The role is hands-on and people-focused, with an emphasis on reassurance, professionalism, accuracy, and care. No two days are the same, and the role offers a chance to make a direct difference in how people understand their health.
Key duties
- Travel to allocated venues and prepare the workspace and equipment before appointments begin.
- Welcome customers and carry out health assessments throughout the day.
- Complete between 15 and 22 customer appointments per day, with each appointment lasting around 10 to 45 minutes depending on the package selected.
- Perform assessments such as PAD, ECG, phlebotomy once qualified, lung function checks, body composition testing, and related procedures.
- Recommend any appropriate further testing when needed.
- Keep all necessary administration accurate and up to date.
- Provide a calm, supportive, and professional customer experience.
- Work independently while managing time, travel, setup, and appointment flow.
Clinical and customer impact
The role is an important first step in helping customers understand their health. You are not expected to interpret results or give lifestyle advice after the assessment, but you are expected to ensure that each customer feels supported, informed, and well looked after during their appointment.
Training and onboarding
Initial training takes place at the Milton Keynes head office for the first 2 weeks. This requires staying in Milton Keynes from Monday to Friday for both weeks. If you live more than 1 hour and 30 minutes away, paid accommodation and a meal allowance are provided for the training stay.
As part of onboarding, a satisfactory enhanced criminal records check is required, and this is arranged and covered by the employer.

No specific background is required, but you should have a genuine interest in health and wellbeing, enjoy meeting people, and be comfortable combining clinical work with customer service. A proactive attitude, empathy, accuracy, and energy are important for success in this role.
