Job Overview
A leading main contractor in Dublin is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to join their team focused on delivering top-quality residential projects.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a recognized Health & Safety qualification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or an equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of Health & Safety experience specifically within the construction sector.
- Demonstrated experience working on residential construction projects under Main Contractors or Developers.
- In-depth understanding of Irish Health & Safety legislation requirements.
- Strong organizational abilities combined with excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing regular site inspections, audits, and safety evaluations to ensure compliance.
- Assisting with preparing risk assessments and method statements.
- Conducting inductions and delivering toolbox talks to site personnel.
- Overseeing adherence to safety protocols and fostering a proactive safety culture on site.
- Coordinating effectively with site teams and subcontractors to maintain safety standards.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary ranging from €65,000 to €75,000 annually, based on experience.
- Participation in a company pension scheme.
- Provision of a company vehicle with a fuel card.
- Annual salary reviews to reward performance.
