Health and Safety Manager - Nightshift

Overview

A prominent contractor engaged in the construction of a significant building project in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to oversee nightshift operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer expert guidance and support to site leadership to ensure stringent health and safety standards are maintained by all construction staff.
• Carry out weekly site inspections and prepare comprehensive self-assessment reports across all relevant project sites.
• Support incident and accident reporting procedures and investigations, ensuring that effective corrective and preventive measures are implemented.
• Exercise authority to halt work immediately in situations presenting imminent risk of accidents or injuries.
• Provide advice and regular updates on health, safety, and environmental matters to the Senior HSE Manager for the project.
• Execute the project's health, safety, and environmental training initiatives.
• Perform audits to confirm adherence to the Project Health and Safety Plan on-site.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a degree in a relevant field.
• Hold a NEBOSH certification.
• Demonstrate suitable experience managing health and safety functions on large-scale construction projects.
