Overview
Al-Ayuni Investment & Contracting Co. is seeking a proficient Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager to oversee and direct the HSE functions across the organization and its projects. The role mandates ensuring full adherence to legal, regulatory, and company-specific HSE requirements, fostering a proactive safety culture, and driving ongoing improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute HSE policies and systems that align with the company’s strategic goals.
- Lead both internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Manage incident investigations by performing root cause analysis and implementing risk reduction and hazard prevention strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate HSE Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and analyze trends to guide leadership decisions.
- Develop and conduct HSE training programs and awareness campaigns to improve safety knowledge across the organization.
- Engage with internal stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure statutory and client-driven compliance.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives by promoting innovative HSE practices and embedding a strong safety culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a similar field.
- Certifications required include NEBOSH and Lead Auditor credentials in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
