About the Company
The client is a prominent Saudi Arabian real estate investment and development firm, focused on premium hospitality projects across the Kingdom. Supported by a solid private investment group, this company aims to realize Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, particularly enhancing the Hajj and Umrah tourism infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and enforce comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and management frameworks.
- Ensure full adherence to Saudi Arabian regulations and international ISO 45001 standards.
- Lead routine site inspections, conduct thorough audits, and manage incident investigations.
- Implement HSE training, emergency preparedness plans, and promote safety awareness throughout projects.
- Supervise contractor safety performance and manage corrective measures when necessary.
- Develop risk assessments, compile safety reports, and maintain compliance documentation.
- Foster a positive and proactive safety culture among all project participants.
- Work closely with regulatory bodies during safety inspections and audits.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Mandatory prior professional experience working in Germany.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related fields.
- Possession of NEBOSH International Diploma or an equivalent certification is required.
- At least 15 years of experience in HSE roles within large-scale construction, hospitality, real estate, or infrastructure sectors, including a minimum of 5 years in supervisory or leadership positions.
- In-depth understanding of Saudi HSE legislation, ISO 45001 norms, and HSE management concepts.
- Proven capability in conducting audits, investigating incidents, carrying out risk analyses, managing contractors, and preparing emergency response plans.
- Additional certifications like ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, IOSH, CSP, or similar credentials are considered a plus.
- Strong leadership abilities complemented by effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
