Role Summary
As the Health & Safety Advisor, you will oversee compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all fitout projects. Your duties encompass conducting frequent site inspections and audits to detect potential risks and introducing corrective measures as needed. You will also be tasked with developing and providing health and safety training for staff and subcontractors, collaborating with project managers to incorporate safety considerations into project planning and execution, and managing health and safety documentation such as risk assessments and method statements.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 3 to 4 years of experience in a health and safety role within the fitout or construction sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of ISO standards relevant to construction environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with staff at all levels and subcontractors.
- Ability to work autonomously and make well-informed decisions under pressure.
- Relevant health and safety certifications, preferably NEBOSH or IOSH, ideally at Level 7.
