Position Overview
We are seeking a commercially astute marketing leader passionate about live music, cultural events, and entertainment to join one of London's premier entertainment hubs as Head of Venue Marketing (Music & Culture). This role involves crafting and executing marketing strategies across a portfolio of prestigious live music venues and cultural experiences, working to boost audience engagement, enhance brand positioning, and maximize commercial outcomes.
Key Duties
- Formulate and implement comprehensive marketing plans for multiple live entertainment venues.
- Lead initiatives designed to increase ticket sales, attendance, and revenue through data-driven campaigns.
- Manage audience acquisition strategies, CRM efforts, and customer retention programs.
- Oversee integrated marketing campaigns utilizing a mix of paid, owned, earned, and partner channels.
- Foster strong collaborations with promoters, artists, agents, and commercial partners.
- Track ticket sales performance, conduct forecasting, and optimize marketing campaigns accordingly.
- Steer the long-term brand development of venues within London's vibrant cultural scene.
- Lead and nurture a skilled venue marketing and ticketing team.
- Manage marketing budgets efficiently to ensure measurable commercial returns.
- Collaborate across programming, production, commercial, and operations departments.
Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive senior marketing experience within live entertainment, music venues, festivals, or ticketing industries.
- Proven success in driving ticket sales and expanding audience bases.
- Expertise in CRM, customer lifecycle marketing, and audience growth methodologies.
- Competency in managing budgets and assessing campaign effectiveness.
- Experience liaising with promoters, artists, agencies, and commercial stakeholders.
- Leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performance marketing teams.
- Ability to apply insights and analytics to enhance commercial performance.
- Strong enthusiasm for music, culture, and delivering memorable experiences in a dynamic, entrepreneurial context.
