Role Overview

We seek a highly organized and commercially savvy Tour Manager to join the LiveX Team. This pivotal role focuses on creating, managing, and delivering talent-led live tours in theatres and arenas UK-wide and abroad. You'll lead existing tours while identifying and cultivating new opportunities for our talent roster and network. Ideal candidates bring strong experience in touring, theatre, comedy, podcasting, speakers, or event promotion, with a comprehensive ability to manage the entire tour lifecycle — from ideation, budgeting, and promoter relations to sales strategies, marketing, production logistics, contract management, and live show delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of live theatre, arena, and touring projects both domestically and internationally.
  • Manage current touring projects ensuring commercial success, creative integrity, and flawless execution.
  • Identify and pitch innovative touring ideas involving comedy, podcasts, entertainment, and personality-focused formats.
  • Develop original IP-owned touring concepts collaborating with talent, internal teams, venues, promoters, and creative partners.
  • Foster and maintain strong networks with promoters, venues, ticketing entities, marketing teams, PR specialists, production suppliers, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with talent and their managers to develop authentic, commercially viable live show concepts.
  • Lead financial planning including budgeting, forecasting, revenue projections, expense management, promoter deals, and profitability analysis.
  • Manage financial reporting, settlements, P&L tracking, and maintain accurate budget records throughout tours.
  • Coordinate with promoters, venues, and ticketing partners on pricing, sales strategies, capacities, and reporting.
  • Supervise marketing and audience growth plans, working closely with PR and digital teams to boost ticket sales and campaign efficacy.
  • Manage production logistics such as creative direction, technical needs, staging, travel, accommodation, crew, rehearsals, and live event operations.
  • Maintain alignment among talent, agents, promoters, venues, and suppliers through effective communication and scheduling.
  • Represent LiveX at rehearsals, meetings, and live events, including availability for evening and weekend commitments.
  • Conduct detailed tour advancing to ensure all parties are fully informed for successful event delivery.
  • Draft, negotiate, and administer contracts and agreements with promoters, venues, talent, and suppliers.
  • Maintain transparent and professional stakeholder communication managing expectations diligently.
  • Create and update comprehensive project documentation including timelines, budgets, reports, and contact lists.
  • Monitor ticket sales and adjust marketing or commercial strategies to optimize outcomes.
  • Handle live show crisis management calmly and efficiently addressing last-minute changes and challenges.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging talent, trends, and opportunities to expand touring offerings.
  • Collaborate broadly within M+C Saatchi Talent to align touring activities with brand growth and commercial goals.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion with all talent, contractual, and commercial information.
  • Provide regular updates on tour progress, finances, and milestones to senior leadership.
  • Contribute to LiveX’s long-term strategy establishing repeatable, scalable touring models and processes.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven track record in live touring management, theatrical productions, comedy, podcasts, speaker engagements, or live entertainment projects spanning multiple dates.
  • Hands-on experience engaging with promoters, venues, ticketing platforms, production providers, and marketing professionals.
  • Demonstrated competency in budget control, financial settlements, and commercial negotiations.
  • Familiarity working alongside high-profile talent or on projects involving notable personalities is highly preferred.
  • A strong creative acumen to help shape commercially and artistically successful live experiences.
  • Capacity to conceptualize and bring to market novel touring formats and intellectual property.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced creative environment.
  • Robust industry contacts across live entertainment sectors including venues, promoters, producers, and suppliers.
  • Exceptional project management with attention to detail and ability to handle complex and often competing priorities.
  • Excellent negotiation and contractual skills with a professional manner when handling sensitive information.
  • Effective communicator with aptitude for managing multiple stakeholders concurrently.
  • Self-motivated and proactive while being an effective team collaborator.
  • Availability for flexible working hours including evenings and weekends to support live events and rehearsals.
  • Knowledgeable in marketing, PR, and audience engagement relevant to live entertainment tours.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management applications; experience with CRM and ticketing systems is advantageous.
  • Trustworthy and discreet in handling confidential matters.
