Role Summary

The Head of Terminal Operations will oversee the safe and effective running of the airport terminal at Red Sea International Airport, ensuring smooth terminal activities and exceptional passenger service standards. This leadership position directs terminal duty managers, aligns operations with safety regulations, and guarantees adherence to service quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure strict observance of company policies, operational and safety procedures, and professional behavior standards, encouraging a culture of accountability and high performance.
• Lead all terminal operations to confirm readiness, maintain safety, efficiency, quality service, and ensure uninterrupted business continuity.
• Formulate and update operational protocols, contingency strategies, and performance criteria to enable seamless terminal functioning.
• Supervise terminal duty managers and supervisors with emphasis on workforce optimization, performance evaluations, coaching, and team growth.
• Collaborate intensively with airlines, ground handlers, security personnel, authorities, and service providers to assure integrated operations.
• Champion service excellence by monitoring passenger experience, addressing escalated concerns, and implementing enhancements to enrich the travelling journey.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality mandates through regular audits, inspections, risk analyses, and ongoing process improvements.
• Track operational metrics, key performance indicators, incidents, and service delivery, providing comprehensive reports and actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Contribute to strategic planning and operational enhancement projects while facilitating clear communication and resolving concerns across stakeholders.
• Ensure continuous operational leadership by managing delegation, handover protocols, and coverage during absences.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be a Saudi national.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in aviation management or an equivalent discipline.
• Possess 5 to 7 years of practical experience in aviation with a focus on airport operations, operational leadership, and engaging multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
