About the Role
We are seeking a senior leader to serve as the Head of Supply Planning for North America, responsible for steering all supply planning operations across the continent. This critical role focuses on integrating and optimizing supply chain activities to ensure efficient execution, strong inventory health, high product availability, and profitable growth aligned with business goals and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end supply planning process, including demand translation, purchase quantification, allocation, replenishment, and inventory optimization.
- Deliver sustainable business outcomes by maintaining stock efficiency, high availability, healthy inventory levels, and strong sell-through performance balanced with profitability.
- Identify and act on business risks, opportunities, and systemic challenges to enhance performance and prepare the supply chain for future demands.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex or cross-market supply and allocation issues, driving swift alignment and resolution.
- Continuously refine planning systems, parameters, processes, and decision-making to boost efficiency, agility, and business impact.
- Represent North America supply planning leadership across continent and global forums, providing strategic perspectives and acting as a key spokesperson to senior leadership.
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with commercial, product, logistics, controlling, and global teams to ensure cohesive execution and aligned priorities.
- Lead, develop, and motivate the continent supply planning leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and results-driven performance.
- Establish governance frameworks including KPIs, performance management, and clear operating procedures across regional planning teams.
Who You Are
- Possess 10+ years of relevant experience in supply planning, commercial planning, supply chain, or related business functions within retail.
- Proven ability to deliver strong, sustainable business results in dynamic, fast-moving, multi-market environments.
- Demonstrated senior leadership expertise with a strong history of influencing business directions and leading through complexity and transformation.
- Exceptional skills in communication, stakeholder management, and influence, capable of building trust and alignment across global senior leaders and teams.
- Strategic and forward-thinking leader skilled at translating long-term business strategy into operational plans and measurable outcomes.
- Experienced in managing and inspiring large teams, emphasizing collaboration, accountability, and employee development.
- Commercially astute with deep understanding of customer behavior, market dynamics, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
- Strong prioritization and decision-making skills to navigate complex challenges and deliver alignment across diverse stakeholders.
- Focuses equally on outcomes and leadership approach, fostering inclusion, collaboration, and values-based culture.
- Holder of a bachelor's or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.

- The salary range for this role is $252,000 to $327,500, reflecting the current market and subject to candidate qualifications.
