Head of Supply Chain Management

Role overview

An expanding direct-to-consumer consumer brand is hiring a Head of Supply Chain to strengthen planning, forecasting, inventory control, and procurement as it scales across ecommerce, wholesale, and retail. This position reports to the Managing Director and combines strategic leadership with day-to-day ownership of the supply chain function.

The role is based in the UK with remote working, plus regular trips to Pembrokeshire, typically about twice each month, to support the warehouse and wider operations.

Salary is listed at £75,000 to £80,000 per year, with flexibility for the right candidate, and benefits are included.

What you will do

• Run the full supply chain operation across DTC, wholesale, and retail channels.
• Own sales and operations planning so that demand, supply, and inventory stay balanced.
• Build and improve demand planning and forecasting processes to support growth and new product launches.
• Strengthen stock planning, inventory performance, and product availability.
• Oversee procurement activities, purchasing, and supplier partnerships.
• Keep stock levels efficient while protecting working capital.
• Lead the rollout of a new ERP system and forecasting tool.
• Create accurate supply chain reporting for commercial and finance planning.
• Improve systems, processes, and operational efficiency across the function.
• Work closely with Finance, Commercial, Operations, and senior leaders to support business growth.

What the business is looking for

The ideal candidate will be an established Head of Supply Chain, Supply Chain Manager, or senior supply chain professional with experience in DTC, ecommerce, retail, or consumer goods.

You should bring strong capability in demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management, along with solid knowledge of forecasting, procurement, and supplier management. Experience improving or implementing ERP platforms is also important.

This role suits someone who is commercially minded, comfortable working with data to guide decisions, and able to operate across ecommerce, wholesale, and retail supply chains. A practical, hands-on style is essential, along with the ability to shape strategy while maintaining strong operational performance.
