About the Role
We are seeking a Head of Supply Chain Management (Senior Manager / AGM) to join the leadership team of a prominent client based in Noida. This strategic role focuses on integrating technical material planning with global supplier development to establish a robust and future-proof supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee complex multi-tiered Bills of Materials encompassing 1,500 to over 2,000 individual parts.
- Coordinate precise MRP cycles alongside variable production schedules to maintain uninterrupted plant operations.
- Optimize inventory levels by applying lean manufacturing principles, Just-In-Time (JIT), and Kanban methodologies to balance numerous SKUs with required safety stock.
- Lead supplier enhancement initiatives, including vendor audits, onboarding, technical capacity building with Industry 4.0 integration, and negotiate significant contracts.
- Ensure compliance with 2026 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards across the supplier network.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 18 to 22 years of experience in manufacturing sectors such as Automotive, Sheet Metal, or Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in senior leadership capacity.
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; an MBA specializing in Supply Chain Management or Materials Management is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrate technical expertise in manufacturing categories including forgings, castings, sheet metal, fasteners, and machined components with skills in strategic sourcing, vendor development, and inventory management.
- Proficient in ERP systems like SAP or Oracle, coupled with strong data analytics and forecasting capabilities.
- Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure, fast-moving environments where meeting daily delivery targets is critical.
