Role overview
This is a senior leadership opportunity with a global advanced manufacturing company looking for an experienced professional to oversee service operations across Europe. The position sits at Senior Manager or Director level and focuses on improving customer outcomes, strengthening operational execution, and supporting commercial performance.
You will guide a regional team made up of service managers and field engineers, ensuring the function operates effectively across multiple markets while staying aligned with broader business goals.
Core responsibilities
- Direct, coach, and develop field service teams across the European region.
- Raise customer satisfaction while improving overall operational performance.
- Oversee service KPIs, forecasting activities, and financial targets.
- Contribute to workforce planning and the expansion of the organisation.
- Work closely with senior leaders to execute strategic initiatives.
- Promote a workplace culture centred on safety, quality, accountability, and ongoing improvement.
Requirements
- A degree in Engineering or another relevant technical subject is required.
- At least 15 years of experience supporting complex capital equipment in a high-tech manufacturing setting.
- Minimum 10 years in leadership roles managing technical service or operations teams.
- Proven strength in commercial, operational, and customer-facing responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
