Head of Secure Systems & Quality - Maritime Simulation and Training

Overview

As the Head of Secure Systems & Quality, you will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for project quality management, IT security, configuration management, and IT system administration. Your team’s efforts will enable the successful development, integration, and operation of advanced maritime simulation and training solutions for both national and international clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a cross-functional team across project quality management, IT security, configuration management, and system administration with both technical and disciplinary authority.
• Drive the strategic development of your functional area, aligning your group’s objectives with corporate and project goals.
• Ensure compliance with quality, security, regulatory, and customer requirements throughout the product and project lifecycle.
• Continuously optimize processes, methods, guidelines, and tools to enhance efficiency, quality, and transparency.
• Provide expert advice and support across project phases on quality, security, and configuration matters.
• Implement and advance effective information security and risk management practices to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
• Plan, prioritize, and manage resources, budgets, and work packages to guarantee appropriate capacity utilization.
• Promote the professional and personal growth of team members.

Qualifications and Experience

• Completed university degree in computer science, electrical engineering, telecommunications, business administration, economics, or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience and relevant professional background managing small to medium-sized development projects.
• Hands-on experience using contemporary development processes.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with goal-oriented, independent work style and strong assertiveness.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
