Role Summary
We are expanding operations in Ghana and seeking a seasoned, goal-oriented Head of Sales to steer our commercial development in the region. This position is fully remote; candidates must be based in Ghana and able to travel locally to engage with clients, partners, and participate in industry events.
Key Duties
- Design and implement Clea's sales plan tailored for the Ghanaian marketplace.
- Identify, prospect, and acquire clients including SMEs, importers, exporters, manufacturers, distributors, and enterprise-level companies.
- Maintain and manage a robust sales pipeline to consistently meet or surpass revenue goals.
- Forge and nurture long-term relationships with crucial decision-makers and strategic accounts.
- Recruit, coach, and oversee the Ghana sales team as the company expands its footprint.
- Develop partnerships with chambers of commerce, trade organizations, logistics firms, and other strategic entities.
- Work alongside the marketing department to generate leads and turn them into clients.
- Continuously monitor industry trends, client requirements, and competitive landscape.
- Compile precise sales forecasts and track performance metrics.
- Serve as Clea’s representative at business forums, conferences, and networking events throughout Ghana.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum five years of B2B sales experience.
- At least two years in a sales leadership or managerial capacity.
- Preferred background in fintech, banking, payment solutions, SaaS, logistics, or trade finance sectors.
- Strong knowledge of Ghana’s business environment.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-driven with the capacity to work autonomously within a remote setup.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in selling financial or payment services to businesses.
- Established networks among SMEs, importers, exporters, manufacturers, and corporations in Ghana.
- Demonstrated ability to create and expand a sales team.

Location Requirement
This is a remote role, but candidates must have legal work authorization and reside currently in Ghana. Frequent local travel is required to engage clients, partners, and attend industry events.
