Role Overview
The Head of Sales role is a comprehensive leadership position responsible for managing the sales function across both product lines. This involves building and nurturing a pipeline of significant enterprise deals, developing and guiding a sales team, defining sales strategies, collaborating with Go-To-Market leadership on launch initiatives, and coordinating with the Product team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and close a personal pipeline of enterprise-level deals.
- Handle account management focusing on client retention and upselling.
- Lead forecasting, sales reporting, and planning cycles for the sales unit.
- Develop and execute sales strategies in alignment with Go-To-Market plans.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum five years of sales experience with a proven track record of closing significant deals individually.
- At least three years of experience leading and managing sales teams.
- Background in startup or small to medium enterprise settings (20 to 150 employees).
- Direct experience in selling SaaS or AI-based products.
- Strong expertise in HubSpot or equivalent CRM software.
- Proficiency in incorporating AI tools within daily workflows.
- High initiative and decisiveness with the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and ambiguous contexts.
- Fluency in German and strong command of English.
