Role overview
This position is for an experienced retail leader to take charge of multi-store operations for a client in the retail sector. The role focuses on improving sales performance, maintaining smooth day-to-day execution, and raising operational standards across all locations. The right candidate will combine team leadership, commercial judgment, and long-term planning to help the business achieve its goals.
Key responsibilities
- Create and roll out retail plans that support broader business objectives while keeping store-level operations running effectively.
- Boost revenue by studying market trends, launching commercial initiatives, and managing KPIs and budgets with discipline.
- Guide and develop Regional, Area, and Store Managers to foster a strong, results-driven, customer-first culture.
- Maintain high service standards and handle escalated customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Manage inventory control, compliance, financial performance including P&L, and coordination with cross-functional teams to improve overall results.
Candidate profile
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a similar discipline is required; an MBA is an advantage.
- The role calls for 10–15 years of growing retail experience, with at least 5 years spent in a senior leadership position.
- Strong capability in leadership, analysis, and financial management is essential, along with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and retail technology such as ERP and POS systems.
