The Head of Retail Learning for South Asia Pacific takes charge of the retail learning agenda across seven diverse markets. This leadership role requires crafting and implementing strategies that align global priorities with regional objectives, focusing on enhancing client experience, selling skills, leadership, and retail success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and direct the South Asia Pacific Retail Learning strategy, ensuring harmony with global initiatives and regional commercial needs.
- Create and oversee the regional learning roadmap, priorities, operational rhythms, and governance to maintain consistency and accountability.
- Collaborate with Global Retail Learning for curriculum relevance and adoption in the region.
- Work closely with stakeholders including Retail Excellence, Market Leadership, HR, Client Relations, Merchandising, and Operations to convert business priorities into impactful learning solutions.
- Ensure local adaptation of programs without compromising Tiffany's standards and client experience.
- Manage budgets, resources, project timelines, supplier relationships to deliver quality and commercially effective programs.
- Establish and track learning KPIs linking training efforts with business outcomes, client satisfaction, and sales performance.
- Analyze data from LMS, participation, field reviews, and sales to evaluate learning initiatives and identify gaps.
- Guide continuous improvement by measuring learning ROI and refining programs to promote scalable behavioral change.
- Support consistent regional deployment of global Tiffany Retail Learning programs with clear activation plans.
- Collaborate with market teams to tailor and deliver training that meets capability needs and business goals.
- Promote integrated learning journeys combining formal training, coaching, leadership, and on-the-job application.
- Advise leaders on key capability priorities and performance challenges, aiding targeted development for Store and Team Leaders and emerging talent.
- Foster strong leadership at store level, enhancing coaching capabilities to uphold sustained learning and sales standards.
- Lead and energize a regional network of Retail Learning Managers and Field Coaches, creating forums for knowledge sharing and alignment.
- Coach team members for higher facilitation quality, impact, and business understanding while encouraging peer learning and replication of best practices.
- Ensure consistent in-store coaching to improve client service, sales behaviors, and leadership effectiveness across markets.
Qualifications and Experience
- Over 10 years of experience in retail, training, instructional design, classroom facilitation, or performance consulting.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher education level required.
- Proven leadership skills in managing direct reports and cross-functional teams.
- Strong commitment to excellence and ability to advocate and drive organizational change.
- Adaptive mindset focused on continuous improvement and evolving business priorities.
- Understanding and appreciation of the retail and luxury sectors.
- Expertise in setting training strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation abilities.
- Highly organized with capability to execute innovative learning solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration across all employee levels.
