Job description
About Denk Pharma
DENK PHARMA has been a family-owned business since 1948 and now operates in more than 80 countries. Guided by the promise “Quality for your Health – Made in Germany,” the company aims to make medicines and health products accessible to customers worldwide. A defining feature of the business is that customers in all markets receive the same pharmaceutical and nutritional products that are available in Germany. To maintain this standard, the products are produced almost entirely in Germany, quality-tested there, and also approved in Germany.
Role overview
As Head of Regional Marketing Activation, you will own the strategic and operational leadership of international marketing activation. You will guide two high-performing teams and be accountable for driving sustainable conversion growth across more than 80 markets.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop two marketing teams with a strong focus on performance, while building a culture where sustainable growth and measurable conversion improvement are part of everyday work.
- Create efficient cross-country processes and standardized reporting structures that enable clear performance tracking and support data-led decisions across international marketing.
- Drive country-specific brand activation initiatives in global markets and ensure that worldwide marketing strategies are translated into effective local execution.
- Plan and manage integrated omnichannel campaigns that use country-level differences as opportunities to increase market reach and impact.
- Act as the main coordination point between international headquarters marketing, regional sales teams, and local marketing stakeholders.
- Own international events end to end, from initial concept through execution and follow-up, including conferences, trade fairs, and training sessions for headquarters and around 80 markets.
- Analyze market, competitor, and customer data at international level and provide solid strategic recommendations to both global and local stakeholders.
Candidate profile
You should bring a completed degree in business or economics, ideally with a focus on marketing, communications, or a similar field. The role calls for an inspiring leader with energy, creativity, analytical thinking, empathy, and strong execution skills. You should have several years of experience designing and improving marketing campaigns in international or decentralized organizations, along with confidence in managing brand activation and developing both online and offline campaigns.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English are required; additional languages are a plus. A good understanding of different market structures, customer expectations, and cultural nuances is important. The position also requires a willingness to travel 20%, flexibility, and a hands-on working style. You should be comfortable evaluating KPIs, benchmarks, and campaign performance to derive practical recommendations. Curiosity about AI-enabled forecasting models, automation approaches, and new data-driven tools is also valued.
What the company offers
- Flexible working hours and the option to work remotely from time to time.
- Many team and company events such as Oktoberfest, summer parties, carnival celebrations, Christmas parties, an annual team event, and regular after-work gatherings on the rooftop terrace.
- Open feedback culture, including monthly pulse surveys to capture team sentiment and support change, plus regular feedback and development discussions with your manager.
- Focused development support, including internal and external workshops based on your needs to strengthen both personal and professional growth.
- Health and fitness access through an EGYM Wellpass partnership, offering a wide range of sports options across Germany such as gyms, yoga studios, pools, and massages, plus free supplements and snacks like fruit, nuts, and ice cream.
- A buddy program for onboarding, networking support, and a get-together lunch.
- Additional benefits including a 150 EUR shopping card, exclusive corporate discounts, a performance-based bonus, occupational pension provision, and more.
