The goal is to ensure initiatives are completed on schedule, within scope, and within budget.
What you will do
- Create and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and delivery checkpoints.
- Coordinate work across teams to keep projects moving efficiently and aligned with objectives.
- Track progress against goals and surface delays, dependencies, risks, and issues early.
- Support project managers and volunteers through guidance, mentoring, and day-to-day oversight.
- Prepare regular updates on project status, results, and challenges for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Improve project management workflows, tools, and processes to strengthen delivery quality.
- Align available resources with organizational priorities and shifting project needs.
- Contribute, where applicable, to fundraising efforts and partnership-related initiatives.
Qualifications and background
Ideal candidates bring a strong foundation in program and project management, along with the ability to work with varied stakeholders and communicate complex ideas clearly. The role also calls for analytical judgment, team leadership, and sound budget oversight. Experience in nonprofit, international, or policy-oriented work is highly valued, especially in youth or civic engagement contexts.
Additional requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, International Relations, Business, Project Management, or a closely related discipline is required; a master’s degree is considered an advantage. Candidates should be comfortable using project management methods and tools, including Agile, waterfall, or blended approaches, and should be able to thrive in a hybrid work setup in Dubai. Strong organization, time management, and a commitment to inclusion, social impact, and collaborative problem-solving are essential.
