• Achieve ongoing cost reductions, commercial advantages, and improved supply chain effectiveness across varied expenditures.
• Lead procurement transformation efforts by integrating best practice procedures, governance standards, and effective workflows.
• Oversee category management, strategic sourcing, supplier engagement, and programs focused on continuous advancement.
• Collaborate with senior leaders across operations, finance, commercial, and business units to synchronize procurement objectives with corporate goals.
• Contribute procurement expertise to business development and tender processes through commercial insights and supply chain acumen.
• Design and execute supplier strategies that drive innovation, resilience, sustainability, and superior performance.
• Spot opportunities for digitization, automation, and optimization within procurement operations.
• Manage risks, supplier effectiveness, and contract compliance throughout the supply chain.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-achieving procurement team fostering collaboration, responsibility, and consistent progression.
• Deliver regular updates on procurement outcomes, transformation progress, and value realization to senior management.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive procurement leadership experience in complex, multi-location environments such as engineering, technical services, infrastructure, utilities, or operationally intensive organisations.
• Demonstrated success in achieving significant cost savings, driving commercial value, and improving procurement performance.
• Proven record leading procurement transformation projects including operating model design, process enhancements, and organisational change management.
• Exceptional stakeholder relationship capabilities with experience influencing Executive and Board-level decision makers.
• Experience building and managing high-performance procurement teams.
• Strong commercial insight with expertise in category management and strategic sourcing techniques.
• Capability to promote innovation, change, and continuous improvement in procurement functions.

• Background in technical services, energy, renewable energy, digital, technology, or project-oriented sectors.
