The role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution inside a fast-growing, globally distributed technology business. You will be responsible for strengthening the people function, building a strong recruiting engine, and shaping the systems that support hiring, development, performance, and scaling.
As a senior advisor to executive leadership, you will help define how the company attracts, develops, and retains high-performing talent in a competitive global market. The position is highly hands-on and requires the ability to move between long-term planning and day-to-day delivery across recruiting, workforce planning, performance management, and people operations. The overall environment is data-led, fast moving, and focused on building scalable teams and processes.
Key accountabilities
- Own and grow the full People function, covering recruiting and people operations across a distributed global team.
- Create and run a recruiting strategy that consistently brings in excellent talent while protecting a high-performing talent mix.
- Work with executive leadership on workforce planning, team structure, compensation approach, and headcount priorities.
- Build, refine, and scale frameworks for performance management, leadership development, and career progression.
- Improve hiring operations, candidate experience, and recruiter productivity through repeatable systems and efficient workflows.
- Set up clear metrics and reporting to improve visibility into hiring outcomes and overall organizational health.
- Introduce automation and AI-supported workflows into recruiting and people operations where they add value.
- Help preserve and evolve company culture so it stays aligned with core values and operating principles during rapid growth.
- Partner closely with Finance and leadership on compensation planning and broader organizational investment decisions.
- Coach and develop the People team to strengthen ownership, execution, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in people leadership, recruiting, talent acquisition, or people operations, ideally in high-growth technology companies.
- Demonstrated success building and scaling recruiting functions in fast-paced, talent-rich environments.
- Strong experience advising executive leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
- Proven ability to lead and grow high-performing people or recruiting teams.
- Solid understanding of modern recruiting systems, talent operations, and performance management practices.
- Strong analytical capability and comfort using data to guide decisions and improve processes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive influence skills.
- A hands-on working style with the ability to contribute strategically and operationally.
- Prior experience in distributed or remote-first organizations.
- Strong interest in using AI-enabled tools and workflows to modernize recruiting and people operations.
- Experience in SaaS, developer tools, fintech, or another rapidly scaling technology environment is a plus.
Benefits
- Competitive equity opportunity in a venture-backed, high-growth technology company.
- Fully remote setup with flexible working arrangements.
- Recommended annual leave of 4 to 5 weeks for rest and recovery.
- Allowance for home office setup plus an annual learning and development stipend.
- Long-term equity exercise window of up to 10 years.
- The chance to shape and scale a global People function at a critical stage of growth.
- A strong ownership culture with high standards and continuous improvement.
- Direct exposure to executive decision-making and company-building at scale.
