Role Overview
We are seeking a Head of People, Culture & HR based in Nashik, Maharashtra, working Sunday to Friday. This role transcends traditional HR tasks, focusing on fostering a high-performance culture, augmenting leadership skills, delivering exceptional employee experiences, and creating scalable people systems supporting business growth. Reporting to the Executive Director, the position collaborates closely with senior leaders to shape the company's future.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a values-driven, performance-oriented organizational culture.
- Conduct employee engagement sessions across all workforce levels.
- Implement feedback systems to pinpoint employee concerns and opportunities.
- Enhance employee morale, collaboration, and retention through engagement initiatives.
- Promote transparent communication to build trust between employees and management.
- Lead initiatives positioning Montex as an employer of choice.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on organizational and people strategies.
- Coach managers on leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Develop leadership pipelines with succession planning and development programs.
- Guide organizational restructuring and change management.
- Design and manage a comprehensive performance management system with goal setting and periodic reviews.
- Foster accountability, ownership, and meritocracy within teams.
- Refine employee benefit programs, benchmarking compensation to remain competitive.
- Enhance insurance, wellness, recognition, and welfare initiatives.
- Establish scalable HR processes, policies, and standard operating procedures through digitization and automation.
- Strengthen onboarding and employee lifecycle management from hiring to exit.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and manage statutory compliances like PF, ESIC, gratuity, bonus, leave, contract labor, and audits.
- Build effective hiring processes to attract and retain high-quality talent across technical and leadership roles.
- Identify organizational skill gaps and implement training programs for technical, behavioral, and leadership development.
- Develop HR analytics dashboards covering engagement, attrition, attendance, hiring, training, performance, and productivity, providing actionable insights to leadership.
Success Metrics (within 12-18 months)
- Establish strong organizational trust and a visible People function.
- Implement a structured performance management system.
- Revamp employee benefits and engagement to improve high-performer retention.
- Enhance leadership capabilities and modernize HR policies and systems.
- Ensure thorough statutory compliance and embed a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
- 10–15 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3–5 years in leadership.
- Background in manufacturing, engineering, automotive, industrial, chemical, or similar sectors.
- Experience managing organizations with 300–1,500 employees.
- Proven track record in building or transforming HR functions.
- Strong expertise in Indian labor laws, employee, and industrial relations.
- MBA or PGDM in Human Resources or related field; additional credentials in Labor Laws, Organizational Development, Coaching, or Leadership Development favored.
