In this senior leadership position, you will help build and expand the people function inside a fast-growing technology business with teams spread across multiple locations. Your remit will include strengthening recruiting, people operations, talent development, and organizational design so the company can scale effectively. You will work closely with executive leaders to shape how the organization attracts, develops, and retains talent in a highly competitive market. The role combines strategic thinking with day-to-day execution across recruiting, performance management, and workforce planning, with a strong focus on maintaining high talent standards while supporting sustainable growth.

The working environment is fast-moving, heavily data-oriented, and centered on creating scalable systems and high-performing teams.

Key accountabilities

  • Own and grow the full People function, covering recruiting and people operations across a globally distributed organization.
  • Create and implement a recruiting strategy that consistently brings in top-quality talent while protecting a strong talent bar.
  • Work with executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational structure, compensation approach, and headcount decisions.
  • Establish and refine frameworks for performance management, leadership growth, and career progression.
  • Improve hiring operations, the candidate journey, and recruiter effectiveness through scalable processes and systems.
  • Build metrics and reporting that improve visibility into hiring performance and broader organizational health.
  • Promote automation and AI-supported workflows in recruiting and people operations.
  • Help preserve and evolve company culture so it stays aligned with values and operating principles during rapid growth.
  • Partner with Finance and leadership on compensation planning and organizational investment decisions.
  • Coach and develop the People team to strengthen ownership, execution, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in people leadership, recruiting, talent acquisition, or people operations within high-growth technology companies.
  • Demonstrated success in building and expanding recruiting functions in fast-paced, talent-rich environments.
  • Strong experience advising executive leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
  • Background in managing and developing high-performing People or Recruiting teams.
  • Solid understanding of modern recruiting systems, talent operations, and performance management frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to guide decisions and improve processes.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive influence skills.
  • Comfort operating in a hands-on leadership role that balances strategy with execution.
  • Experience in distributed or remote-first organizations.
  • Strong interest in AI-enabled tools and workflows for recruiting and people operations transformation.
  • Experience in SaaS, developer tools, fintech, or similarly fast-scaling technology environments is a plus.

Benefits and additional information

  • Competitive equity package in a venture-backed, high-growth technology company.
  • Fully remote and flexible work setup.
  • Recommended annual time off of 4 to 5 weeks for rest and recovery.
  • Home office setup support and an annual learning and development stipend.
  • Long-term equity exercise window of up to 10 years.
  • Opportunity to shape and scale a global People function at an important stage of growth.
  • A culture built around ownership, high performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Direct exposure to executive decision-making and strategic company-building at scale.

Application and data handling

The hiring company’s internal team makes the final decision and manages the next steps, including interviews and assessments. As part of the application process, your personal data may be processed to evaluate your candidacy and shared with the employer. The process may use AI tools to support application review, resume analysis, response assessment, and basic inconsistency or verification checks, but human judgment remains the basis for final hiring decisions.
