Job description
About Comfi
Comfi helps small and medium-sized businesses across the Middle East access working capital quickly and with far less friction than traditional lenders. Through solutions such as invoice financing, payable financing, and dealer financing, the company turns future receivables into immediate liquidity so businesses can keep operating, expanding, and managing cash flow with more control.
The company works with businesses in sectors such as automotive, electronics, healthcare, and food & beverage, and focuses on removing the delays, uncertainty, and complexity that usually come with conventional financing. Supported by $65M in venture debt facilities and growing at 20% month over month, Comfi is scaling rapidly across the region and aims to reshape how businesses obtain capital.
Role Overview
Comfi is seeking a Head of Partnerships to lead its full partnership engine. This includes the current referral broker network as well as the next major growth opportunity: anchor originator platforms. The role owns the commercial performance of partnerships and is not limited to coordination. You will manage the referral network as a business, convert existing B2B supplier relationships into referral channels, and build embedded finance partnerships with SME aggregator platforms to accelerate origination at scale.
The position works closely with Product, Risk, Engineering, Sales, and Finance to convert each partnership stream into a repeatable, structured growth channel.
What You’ll Do
- Take full ownership of the P&L for the current broker network.
- Improve broker productivity, performance, and the quality of deals coming through the network.
- Design the operating systems and incentive structures needed to grow the network sustainably.
- Turn Comfi’s existing B2B supplier relationships into active referral partners.
- Develop the acquisition and onboarding approach that brings suppliers’ SME customer base to Comfi.
- Source and close anchor originator platform partnerships with SME-aggregating platforms through embedded finance offerings.
- Drive these platform partnerships from first contact through signature, integration, and revenue generation.
- Shape the commercial terms, partner experience, and product requirements required for complex integrations.
- Draft detailed product specifications that help internal teams build and launch the needed partnership integrations.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in B2B partnerships, business development, or embedded finance, preferably within fintech or a fast-growing startup.
- Demonstrated experience owning and improving a P&L rather than only meeting partnership targets.
- Comfort operating in high-pressure roles with significant revenue responsibility.
- Ability to manage the full partner and customer lifecycle, including preparing thorough product specs for technical integrations.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to align Product, Risk, Engineering, Sales, and Finance around a shared roadmap.
- Confidence in senior-level negotiation and relationship building across broker networks and platform partnerships.
- Strong analytical thinking and business judgment, with the ability to size opportunities and support decisions with data.
- Proven success in securing and managing large strategic partnerships.
- Experience driving step-change growth and scaling a go-to-market motion by 10x, not just making incremental gains.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with embedded finance products or SME marketplace and aggregator platforms.
- Exposure to fintech, lending, BNPL, or payments.
- Experience working in the UAE or broader GCC market.
Benefits
- Competitive compensation.
- Visa sponsorship.
- Medical insurance.
