Position Overview

The Head of Operations role is central within the Television Audience Measurement (TAM) Ireland team tasked with launching a new TV audience measurement panel for the Republic of Ireland starting in January 2028. Located in Dublin, this permanent, full-time position embraces a hybrid working model requiring at least two days per week onsite. The successful candidate will lead the core Operations function, developing a capable team that adapts to the evolving needs of the service while maintaining high data quality through advanced metering and backend systems.

Primary Duties

  • Lead and manage the Operations team ensuring alignment with best practices and performance goals.
  • Mentor and support team members to achieve individual and collective objectives, including conducting appraisals and identifying development areas.
  • Resolve internal conflicts, manage disciplinary procedures, and maintain team communications.
  • Regularly reassess workload priorities using key metrics and maintain team productivity to meet service level agreements and KPIs.
  • Lead implementation of special projects, ensuring continuous improvement and service excellence.
  • Ensure all operational processes, field procedures, and policies are formally documented and consistently applied, complying with ISO9001 standards.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and work collaboratively with quality control teams to optimize panel performance.
  • Manage recruitment, training, and probation processes, while ensuring awareness and compliance with GDPR and data protection policies.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for technical issues related to software and equipment, and help minimize stock wastage.
