About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned and strategic Head of Operations to spearhead and manage all operational activities within our organization. This position plays a pivotal role in shaping operational strategies, enhancing business processes, elevating efficiency, and guaranteeing exceptional operational standards throughout the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement operational strategies in line with the organization's vision, goals, and growth targets.
- Oversee the daily functioning of business operations to maximize productivity and service quality.
- Design, deploy, and refine operational workflows, processes, and performance benchmarks consistently.
- Track and analyze key operational performance indicators, delivering insights and strategic recommendations to top management.
- Lead initiatives to improve operational excellence, optimize processes, automate tasks, and reduce costs.
- Work closely with department heads to ensure operational actions support business objectives and customer satisfaction.
- Handle resource management including workforce planning, budgeting, and forecasting for operations.
- Identify potential operational hazards and develop mitigation approaches to maintain uninterrupted business functions.
- Guide organizational transformation, change management, and continuous improvement programs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality control standards.
- Coach and develop managers and operational staff to promote a culture of responsibility and superior performance.
- Contribute to strategic planning, company expansion efforts, and exploring new business ventures.
- Prepare and present executive reports, operational reviews, and performance updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in operations leadership, business management, supply chain, logistics, or related domains.
- Expertise in developing operational strategies, improving processes, and managing organizational performance.
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and overseeing large-scale operational units.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership qualities with effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Experienced in budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and operational performance monitoring.
- Knowledgeable with business systems, ERP solutions, data analytics, and operational reporting tools.
- Ability to excel in a fast-moving, evolving, and growth-centric environment.
- High commercial insight paired with strategic business judgment.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related fields. Advanced qualifications such as MBA or comparable leadership certifications are advantageous.
