Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a comprehensive logistics strategy to ensure delivery performance, cost efficiency, and optimized processes.
  • Lead strategic and operational inventory planning including analysis of warehouse metrics to maintain product availability while optimizing stock levels.
  • Enhance transport and distribution operations to guarantee fast, reliable, and cost-effective goods distribution.
  • Provide both functional and disciplinary leadership to a team of three logistics planners, overseeing resource management, performance evaluation, and professional development.
  • Initiate, manage, and execute projects aimed at process improvement and adoption of new technologies such as automation and digital tools.
  • Manage budget planning and monitoring for the Logistics Planning division.
  • Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), regularly report to management, and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments including Purchasing, Distribution, Sales, Supply Planning, Controlling, and Production.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain planning, preferably including leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven expertise in leading and developing logistics teams and building effective organizational structures.
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating complex logistics processes and deriving practical solutions.
  • Extensive project management experience with a successful track record in process and efficiency enhancements.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities in dealing with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Good knowledge of common logistics and planning systems such as SAP, along with understanding of modern logistics and planning tools.
