Job description

Role Overview

ChillBase is hiring a Head of Narrative to shape a new global social role-play project for PC and mobile. The game is described as a large-scale world with multiple regions and cultures, with room to build a distinctive setting that feels alive and worth inhabiting.

What the Role Covers

You will be responsible for turning the narrative vision into a connected system that works across the entire project. This includes dialogue, lore, factions, characters, world tone, world rules, quests, events, and FTUE, bringing all of these pieces together into one coherent experience.

Working Style

This is a hands-on leadership role. The first stage focuses on building the narrative foundation directly, and later the responsibility expands into assembling and managing a team around that framework.

Experience and Background

The ideal candidate has deep experience in narrative design for online, multiplayer, live-service, open-world, or sandbox games. Prior work in role-play projects is considered a strong advantage, and having shipped a game in the role of narrative lead is especially valuable.

Location

This position is based in one of ChillBase's offices: Dubai, Limassol, Almaty, or Tbilisi.

Application Material

Applicants are expected to share a portfolio and CV directly in private correspondence.

Leave it if you'd like a reply — we won't use it for anything else.
