About the Role
Our client, a prominent professional membership body servicing thousands nationally and internationally, is seeking a Head of Marketing for a 9-month fixed-term contract based in Dublin 2 with hybrid work arrangements. Reporting to the Executive Head of Strategy, Marketing & Commercial, this senior leadership position is responsible for shaping and executing the organisation’s marketing strategy, enhancing brand presence, and steering strategic business planning. The role involves collaborating with the executive leadership and leading a high-performance marketing team to boost engagement among members, students, and key partners through effective use of data, insights, and digital channels.
Key Duties
- Oversee the organisation's brand, marketing activities, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Create and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns across education, membership, and commercial sectors.
- Drive brand positioning to ensure consistency in all communications and marketing output.
- Collaborate with senior leaders on strategy development and setting of annual business priorities.
- Lead the use of research, customer insights, CRM tools, and analytics to guide marketing strategies.
- Manage relationships with agencies, strategic collaborators, and stakeholders effectively.
- Monitor marketing budgets, prepare performance reports, and continually optimize marketing efforts.
- Lead and nurture a skilled marketing team to achieve high performance.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 8 years in senior marketing, branding, or communications roles, including 3 to 5 years in management or supervisory positions.
- Proven track record in designing and executing strategic, integrated marketing initiatives.
- Experience working with senior leadership teams to influence business and marketing strategies.
- Strong know-how in brand management, digital marketing, CRM, customer insights, and data analytics.
- Commercially astute with budget oversight experience and ability to measure marketing effectiveness.
- Excellent leadership capabilities along with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Background in membership organisations, education sectors, professional services, or regulated industries is a plus.
