Head of Marketing (all genders)

Position Overview

As the Head of Marketing at domeba located in Chemnitz, Saxony, Germany, you will hold comprehensive responsibility for our national marketing strategy and operations. You will translate business and growth objectives into an effective marketing plan driving various disciplines including brand positioning, performance marketing, content, events, and marketing automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all facets of marketing strategy and execution while aligning with company goals.
• Manage marketing disciplines such as brand identity, demand generation, content and communication, event management, and CRM systems.
• Develop creative PR and employer branding initiatives collaboratively with HR.
• Coordinate product and go-to-market campaigns alongside Business Development and Product Management teams.
• Support international expansion through strategic marketing planning and localization from branding to lead generation.
• Maintain a close, well-defined partnership with Sales for lead management and pipeline development.
• Lead and nurture the marketing team into a performance-driven, empathetic, and modern organization.
• Manage budgets, resources, external agencies, and service providers with confidence.
• Establish, monitor, and continuously improve relevant marketing KPIs.

Candidate Profile

• Multiple years of leadership experience in complex international marketing settings, with substantial expertise in B2B marketing preferably within SaaS, software, or technology sectors.
• Proficient in brand strategy and positioning, performance and demand generation marketing, international go-to-market approaches, marketing automation, and CRM.
• Experienced in collaborating effectively with Sales, Business Development, and Product Management teams.
• Strong understanding of KPI frameworks, budget management, and marketing ROI, with the ability to translate these insights into actionable tasks.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills paired with strategic thinking, entrepreneurial mindset, and empathy towards team members.
• Organized, solution-focused, and responsible work ethic.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, intercultural awareness, resilience, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Fluency in German and English is essential; additional languages are advantageous.
