Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the Head of IT Operations and Service Delivery for our Dental division within a prominent healthcare organization. This permanent, full-time position is instrumental in ensuring that our IT systems and infrastructure effectively support superior patient care and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the IT Operations and Service Delivery strategy tailored to the Dental business.
- Manage IT infrastructure encompassing cloud services, networking, telephony, end-user devices, and on-premises systems.
- Guarantee system availability, optimal performance, security, and resilience.
- Lead initiatives for disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Directly oversee the IT Service Management processes and frameworks.
- Supervise teams including Service Desk, Application Support, and Major Incident Management.
- Manage relationships and contracts with external suppliers and vendors.
- Mentor, coach, and cultivate a high-performing leadership team.
Candidate Profile
- Established experience in a senior IT leadership role within complex, multi-location environments, preferably in healthcare or service sectors.
- Strong expertise in IT infrastructure management, cloud technologies (notably Microsoft Azure), and IT service management.
- Proven ability to lead sizeable teams and coordinate third-party vendor relations successfully.
- Comprehensive understanding of ITIL frameworks, with v3 or v4 certification preferred.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements pertinent to healthcare or similar regulated fields.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
