About the Role
We are searching for a Head of IT to lead the Information Technology division at Attieh Trading Limited, based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This leader will primarily be responsible for the management and continuous enhancement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) within the company. In addition, this role encompasses oversight of Microsoft 365 platforms, routine server operations, IT security monitoring, and corporate website maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the organization’s internal expert for D365 F&O, supporting various functions including finance, supply chain, procurement, inventory, and reporting.
- Manage system configurations, define user roles and permissions, oversee workflows, and govern master data.
- Lead efforts in troubleshooting both functional and technical ERP problems, coordinating with Microsoft and implementation partners when required.
- Plan and manage system updates, version releases, user acceptance testing, and deployment phases to minimize business disruption.
- Support system integrations, including data migration and monitoring of interfaces with other business systems.
- Identify improvements and automation possibilities within the ERP framework and facilitate user training and documentation to enhance adoption.
- Administer the Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and licensing management.
- Handle user onboarding and offboarding processes, manage access rights and group policies, and resolve daily issues raised by end users to maintain system availability.
- Supervise server operations including monitoring and maintenance of cloud-based servers and ensure consistent backup and recovery practices for business continuity.
- Collaborate with external service providers regarding hardware, networking, and infrastructure support.
- Monitor IT security alerts and enforce antivirus, endpoint protection, access controls, security patching, and IT policies regarding data protection and acceptable use.
- Maintain the corporate website, ensuring content is updated and secure, and manage relationships with web hosting providers and design agencies for ongoing maintenance and renewals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- 6 to 8 years of direct experience managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, or with AX 2012 including experience migrating to D365 F&O.
- Proven track record of leading full-lifecycle implementations or significant migrations of D365 F&O.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams consisting of functional, technical staff, and external vendors.
- Strong functional expertise in core D365 modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Retail.
- Demonstrated understanding of Azure integrations, Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS), Power Platform, and data migration tools like DIXF.
