Overview

This opportunity is for an experienced Human Resources leader to head the HR function for a security and manpower services business in Gurugram. The role calls for someone who can shape HR direction, manage core HR processes from hire to exit, maintain legal and statutory compliance, and strengthen employee engagement across several locations. Experience in manpower-heavy environments such as security services, staffing, or facility management is preferred.

Role Focus

The position is designed for a senior HR professional who can balance strategy and execution. You will work closely with leadership on workforce planning, lead the HR team, improve people processes, and support business goals through effective HR practices.

Responsibilities

  • Create and roll out HR strategies that support business priorities.
  • Guide and support the HR team operating across different locations.
  • Work with leadership on organization planning and workforce strategy.
  • Drive performance management and leadership development programs.
  • Manage end-to-end hiring for both office and field roles.
  • Plan approaches for bulk recruitment as well as lateral hiring.
  • Build and maintain pipelines for roles that are critical to the business.
  • Track hiring data and strengthen recruitment efficiency.
  • Oversee onboarding, confirmations, separations, and other HR operational processes.
  • Ensure payroll accuracy and attendance management discipline.
  • Support HRMS rollout and ongoing process enhancements.
  • Handle compensation benchmarking and salary structure planning.
  • Develop, refresh, and standardize HR policies and SOPs.
  • Ensure HR processes remain consistent across branches.
  • Communicate employee handbook updates and policy changes clearly.
  • Design engagement initiatives for employees across sites.
  • Support retention efforts and employee satisfaction initiatives.
  • Address grievances and disciplinary matters effectively.
  • Encourage a healthy and positive workplace culture.
  • Maintain compliance with labour laws and statutory obligations.
  • Manage disciplinary matters and domestic enquiry processes.
  • Coordinate with legal advisors on labour-related issues.
  • Handle HR and compliance audits.
  • Implement a KPI-driven performance management system.
  • Lead appraisal cycles and increment planning.
  • Help business leaders manage performance improvement plans.

Requirements

  • At least 9 years of HR experience, with senior leadership exposure.
  • Background in security, manpower, facility management, or staffing is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
  • Experience managing a large employee base.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management capability.
  • Good communication skills and a practical approach to problem-solving.
