Job description
Role Overview
We are assisting a globally recognised Asset Manager, managing $16 billion in assets, headquartered in Dubai's DFSA. With a focus on serving GCC investors, the firm offers a diverse range of conventional and Shari'a compliant investment solutions through funds, separately managed accounts, and structured products. This wholly owned subsidiary, established in Saudi Arabia in 2023, is expanding rapidly and currently in a start-up phase in Riyadh. The organisation is introducing a new position of Head of Human Resources to play a critical role in shaping its HR function and strategy within the kingdom.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior investment leadership, developing and executing people strategies aligned with commercial and investment goals for both public and private markets.
- Lead talent management and succession planning to build essential leadership capabilities across global teams.
- Manage organizational design and oversee change initiatives such as restructuring, acquisitions, integrations, and evolving operating models.
- Champion cultural transformation by promoting high performance, accountability, and inclusive leadership behaviors.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain effective employee relations to mitigate people-related risks.
- Collaborate with group HR to provide consistent, data-informed HR services across geographic locations, supporting strategic decisions.
- Take ownership of all recruitment activities within the organisation.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive senior-level human resources leadership experience within asset management, investment banking, or similar financial services sectors.
- Deep understanding of public and private market dynamics, institutional investor behavior, governance, and regulatory environments.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with C-suite executives and senior investment professionals, providing credible and business-savvy HR advisory support.
- History of successfully leading complex transformation initiatives including mergers and acquisitions integration, organizational redesign, and cultural change programs.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, capable of navigating complex, matrixed, multinational organizations.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset to shape and guide HR strategies and decisions.
Other Details
This role requires fluency in both Arabic and English languages. The position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
