Role Overview

The company seeks a seasoned and strategic Head of Human Resources to steer the HR function, supporting organizational growth and transformation. This position entails creating robust people processes, driving talent management strategies, and nurturing a high-performance culture aligned with Jaipur Rugs’ core values and vision. Close collaboration with senior management is essential for developing HR strategies, building organizational capacity, and ensuring a motivating and inclusive work environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute HR strategies that align with business goals and expansion plans.
  • Lead end-to-end Talent Acquisition efforts including leadership recruitment, workforce planning, and employer branding.
  • Develop and enforce HR policies, systems, and workflows to maximize efficiency.
  • Champion employee engagement, cultural initiatives, and retention programs.
  • Manage performance appraisal systems, including defining KRAs and review procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and governance standards.
  • Oversee learning and development to enhance leadership and employee skills.
  • Collaborate with business heads on organization development, succession planning, and change management.
  • Supervise compensation and benefits strategies to maintain competitive market positioning and fairness.
  • Leverage HR analytics and data insights for informed decision making.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Over 10 years of comprehensive HR experience encompassing various HR functions.
  • At least 3 to 5 years in a senior leadership or strategic HR role.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR strategy, talent acquisition, and organizational development practices.
  • Familiarity with Indian labor legislation and HR compliance standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with senior management to implement people transformation initiatives.
  • Educational background in MBA/PGDM with specialization in Human Resources or related disciplines is preferred.
