Overview

Join a pioneering team reshaping global design experience. The position is located onsite in San Francisco with flexibility in work arrangements near campuses in Sydney or San Francisco, or remotely as preferred.

Team Context

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) group propels the company’s two-step growth strategy: achieving global valuation milestones and maximizing positive impact. Partnering with all business units, FP&A enhances decision making that accelerates top-line revenue growth via strategic planning, financial discipline, insightful analysis, and operational efficiency.

Role Summary

This leadership role heads the Revenue and GTM FP&A functions, focused on elevating financial acumen and rigor to support growth initiatives. Responsibilities include integrating strategy and execution, partnering cross-functionally, and providing data-driven insights on revenue forecasting, investments, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead consolidated forecasting of Monthly Active Users (MAU), Annualised Revenue, Bookings, and Billings across Product, Growth, Sales, Marketing, and International teams.
  • Manage top-line reporting and insight generation in collaboration with various company groups to foster a performance-driven culture.
  • Translate long-term strategic goals into actionable operational plans.
  • Collaborate with FP&A and business leaders to oversee financial forecasts for revenue, enhancing frameworks, systems, and processes.
  • Improve financial closing and forecasting cycles with cross-team partnerships.
  • Establish executive and leadership-level planning and reporting cadences.
  • Develop driver-based forecasts aiding execution and operational efficiency.
  • Guide efficient capital deployment and investment decision-making processes.
  • Shape the company’s growth narrative and investment rationale through partnership with business and finance units.
  • Coordinate with accounting, tax, and treasury divisions to meet overarching finance objectives.
  • Lead and cultivate a high-performing team of finance professionals.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Extensive experience leading global Revenue and GTM FP&A teams within product and sales-driven environments, preferably in a US public company setting.
  • Strategic acumen to align investment choices with long-term growth ambitions, coupled with sound commercial judgment and innovative problem-solving.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills for collaborating with senior leadership.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities to inspire teams amid ambiguity and rapid change.
  • A commitment to continuously enhancing processes and systems to increase effectiveness and value.
