Job description
Role overview
Bluebird Health Partners (BBHP) is a fast-changing healthcare strategy and product delivery firm working across providers, payers, healthcare innovation, and digital health change. The company has broadened its scope over the last year from advisory work into product management, commercialization strategy, and market deployment for emerging healthcare technologies and scaling healthcare companies.
BBHP is now looking for a growth leader who can help drive the next phase of expansion by creating strong strategic relationships across the healthcare landscape. This role is based remotely in the U.S., with a preference for candidates in Northeast Florida.
Compensation follows a performance-based model with commission, leadership upside, and the possibility of long-term equity and profit-sharing. The position is structured as an executive leadership role and independent contractor engagement, with a path toward a permanent executive appointment.
What the role will focus on
As the Head of Growth & Strategic Partnerships, you will own market expansion, enterprise relationship building, and revenue growth efforts. The role is centered on building partnerships and commercial opportunities rather than traditional sales.
- Strategic partnerships
- Product commercialization opportunities
- Enterprise healthcare relationship development
- Healthcare innovation sourcing
- Revenue growth and market positioning
You will collaborate with firm leadership to pursue opportunities across health systems, payers, digital health companies, growth-stage healthcare startups, and healthcare innovation organizations.
The ideal person for this role is a builder who understands healthcare innovation, can work through complex enterprise relationships, and can position BBHP as a trusted commercialization and strategic execution partner.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement BBHP’s commercialization and growth strategy.
- Identify, pursue, and convert strategic partnerships with healthcare systems, payers, provider organizations, and digital health companies.
- Develop executive-level relationships with healthcare leaders, innovation teams, and venture-backed founders.
- Source and assess later-stage healthcare startups that fit BBHP’s commercialization and operational strengths.
- Partner with leadership to shape product management, consulting, commercialization, and partnership structures.
- Coordinate closely with delivery teams so that growth initiatives are matched by strong execution.
- Represent BBHP at healthcare conferences, innovation events, and executive strategy conversations.
- Create repeatable business development processes, partnership pipelines, and market positioning tools.
- Contribute to long-term growth planning and future team expansion.
Ideal candidate profile
You may be a strong fit if you have led strategic partnerships, growth programs, or enterprise business development in healthcare. Experience closing or managing complex healthcare opportunities in the $100K–$1M+ range is preferred.
You should understand the healthcare ecosystem, including providers, payers, health systems, digital health companies, and value-based care organizations. Experience working with growth-stage or venture-backed healthcare startups is also important.
Success in this role requires the ability to quickly build trust with senior stakeholders, strong strategic and commercial judgment, and comfort working in an entrepreneurial environment with significant autonomy and upside.
Preferred background
- Existing relationships across healthcare systems, payer organizations, innovation ecosystems, or digital health networks.
- Experience in healthcare product commercialization or product management.
- Background in healthcare consulting, venture growth, strategic partnerships, or scaling operations.
- Knowledge of enterprise healthcare procurement and partnership development cycles.
- Interest in improving healthcare delivery and supporting innovation adoption.
Compensation and upside
- Competitive commission tied to revenue that is closed and collected.
- Leadership override opportunities as the growth function expands.
- Performance-based rewards for winning strategic partnerships.
- Potential equity participation and/or profit-sharing linked to performance milestones.
- Strong upside directly connected to BBHP’s growth and enterprise expansion.
Why this opportunity matters
BBHP is at an important growth stage, moving from a consulting-led startup toward a broader healthcare commercialization and innovation partner with a growing enterprise footprint and product management opportunities. This role will help shape the company’s market position, partnership network, revenue strategy, startup ecosystem, and long-term commercialization platform.
