Role overview
This is a newly established Head of FP&A opportunity with a fast-growing business based in Surrey. The role sits at the heart of the finance leadership team and reports directly to the CFO. You will be responsible for setting up and shaping the FP&A capability, including the core processes, reporting structure, and commercial analysis needed to support the company’s growth ambitions.
The organisation is aiming to double turnover over the next three years, so this position will be central to guiding strategic choices and improving business performance across the company.
Key responsibilities
- Create and mature the FP&A function, including the supporting processes and reporting systems.
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activity.
- Produce insightful management reports, KPI analysis, and commercial commentary.
- Build financial models to inform strategic projects and investment decisions.
- Work closely with senior leaders to review performance, challenge assumptions, and uncover growth opportunities.
- Prepare reporting for the Board and executive team.
- Continuously improve planning, forecasting, and wider business performance.
Candidate profile
- You should be a qualified accountant such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or hold an equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a senior FP&A leadership position is required.
- You will need a strong background in creating or materially improving an FP&A function.
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical capability are essential.
- You should be commercially focused and confident influencing senior stakeholders.
- Experience in a high-growth, fast-moving business will be advantageous.
Package
The salary on offer is £90,000 to £100,000 plus benefits.
