About the Role

We are collaborating with a rapidly expanding, internationally recognized company that operates across various countries and is supported by prominent global investors. This organization boasts a solid history of growth and has a clear road map for further expansion through both organic growth and acquisitions. They are seeking a highly motivated Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to join their executive leadership team. This role offers a senior, high-profile position within a dynamic, results-oriented environment, with responsibilities covering operations throughout Europe.

Reporting directly to the Regional Finance Director, you will oversee planning and performance management for a multi-country portfolio. Your role is pivotal in delivering deep financial insights, aiding strategic decisions, and partnering closely with senior leaders across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for multiple business units while consolidating regional financial plans.
  • Produce monthly management reports that provide clear insights accompanied by thorough commentary.
  • Conduct financial performance analysis, including variance assessments against budget and forecasts.
  • Perform competitor and market analyses to inform and guide strategic business choices.
  • Develop detailed financial models to project growth and performance, and assess new and ongoing projects, investments, and initiatives.
  • Support preparation of business cases and decisions on capital allocation, working in partnership with commercial and operational leaders to maximize value creation.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including regional leadership teams.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to drive performance improvements and growth initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a compact yet highly efficient FP&A team.

Candidate Profile

The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, or equivalent) possessing substantial post-qualification experience along with demonstrated success in FP&A, commercial finance, or closely related disciplines.
